The Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft e.V. is the host organisation of two national contact points for EU funding programmes. The contact points are in charge of publishing the funding opportunities of the respective funding programme, supporting applicants in the application process and disseminating funded projects with German participation.

The Creative Europe Desk KULTUR (CED KULTUR) is the national contact point for EU funding for culture and provides information on the cultural funding programme Creative Europe Culture. 2024, the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft ist the host organisation of CED KULTUR. It is financed by the European Union from the “Creative Europe” programme, by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and from its own resources through seminar contributions.

The online platform »« provides information on funding opportunities from 12 other EU programmes for the cultural and creative sectors. The platform is continuously updated with the support of the German Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Civil Service and Sport.

The Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft e.V. has been responsible for the contact point “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values” (CERV) Germany since autumn 2008. The CERV programme of the European Union supports projects on the subject of Union values, equality, participation and the prevention of violence – with a budget of around 1.44 billion euros.

The Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft / Institut für Kulturpolitik is responsible for the German country portal of the Online Compendium for Cultural Policies and Trends. This international monitoring tool provides an annually updated overview of cultural policy structures as well as cultural policy developments and discourses in 42 European countries.
